Families welcome
A safe, warm place for families to unwind.
Unlike many larger hostels, Swaggers' "just like home" feel makes it a lovely spot for families to stay for a night, a weekend or longer.
Oamaru is great for kids and parents alike: the penguins are five minutes' walk away, the farmers market runs every Sunday morning just down the road, and there are plenty of good cafés in town.
Our most sought-after room, the Shiners Cabin, has great views over the harbour.
